Test Analyst - Payroll

Your New Role
As a Test Analyst within the Payroll stream of this HR transformation program, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end testing strategy and execution. You'll lead test planning, design complex test scenarios, and guide junior testers while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of a robust and compliant payroll solution. This role demands deep payroll domain expertise and strong leadership in enterprise-scale testing environments.
What You'll Do
* Lead the development and execution of test strategies, plans, and test cases for payroll functionality
* Perform and oversee functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing activities
* Validate payroll calculations, compliance rules, and data migration within Oracle HCM
* Identify, document, and manage defects; drive resolution with development teams
* Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to align testing with business needs
* Mentor junior test analysts and contribute to testing best practices
* Participate in Agile ceremonies and promote continuous improvement
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Extensive experience as a
Test Analyst
in payroll or HRIS transformation projects
* Strong hands-on payroll testing expertise (ADP experience highly regarded but not essential)
* Proven background in
banking, insurance
, or large
financial services
organisations
* Deep understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and enterprise HR platforms (Oracle HCM preferred)
* Exceptional analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
* ISTQB certification or equivalent highly desirable
