About the Role
The Improvement Project Coordinator position is responsible for managing and coordinating the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) funded Hospital Acquired Complication (HAC): Pressure Injury Prevention Project at Barwon Health. A thematic analysis of pressure injuries was completed by Barwon Health in 2024 and 23 recommendations were made. The role’s aim is to facilitate the implementation of these recommendations by developing a project plan, engaging and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and facilitating the required quality improvement activities to reduce the rate of pressure injuries in the required timeframe.
