The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Tasmania operations. This is a hybrid role with a strong focus on Key Account Management (approx. 70–80%), supported by hands‑on operational leadership. If you enjoy building strong customer relationships, leading small teams, and ensuring smooth rental, workshop, and fleet coordination—this role offers the perfect blend.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients across Tasmania
* Visit customer sites regularly to understand needs and equipment performance
* Identify opportunities to grow market share, increase rental units, and expand our footprint
* Provide tailored equipment solutions and high‑quality customer service
* Oversee day‑to‑day branch operations, bookings, fleet availability, and equipment readiness
* Lead, mentor, and motivate a small team of mechanics, operators
* Ensure safety, compliance, and facility standards are consistently met
* Drive KPIs, prepare monthly activity and performance reports, and support positive branch P&L
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Key Account Management, Sales, Operations or Rentals
* Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships
* Strong leadership capability with experience guiding small teams
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision‑making skills
* Willingness to travel for client meetings, and to manage after‑hours client needs as required
