POSITION DETAILS
The Human Resources and Compliance Officer oversees various aspects of HR services within the organisation. This role encompasses HR compliance, training administration, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and handling employee queries. This role is also responsible for assisting with HR projects, maintaining employee records and serving as an AHRM Administrator when required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Compliance:
* Maintain current and up-to-date employees compliance records in line with Footprints relevant policy procedures and applicable laws and regulations to ensure employees compliance requirements are met.
* Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and best practices.
* Work closely with Senior Manager P&C to update and develop E-Learning and Training Bite courses as required using Canva and Articulate 360 software and uploading to LMS.
* Maintain AHRM LMS and liaise with content developers such as Kenio and IT Provider New Era
* Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR compliance-related matters.
Training Administration:
* Coordinate training programs and initiatives, including enrolling and assigning online training sessions via AHRM as per the Footprints Global Training matrix and follow up on timely completion of assigned programs to employees
* Maintain AHRM training records to ensure compliance with organisational training requirements.
* Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
Onboarding, Offboarding & contract variations:
* Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process as per the Footprints onboarding procedures/ practise for new hires, including orientation & online induction training, paperwork completion, and AHRM workflows.
* Conduct exit interviews and ensure smooth offboarding processes for departing employees, including exit paperwork and transition assistance where required.
* Complete assigned contract variations and liaise with managers/supervisors and other departments to accurately process the contract variations.
* Process onboarding/offboarding of Student Placement and Volunteers.
AHRM Administrator and administrative support:
* Act as the AHRM Administrator when required, manage the AHRM system and ensure the workflow, employee data and reporting lines (organisation chart) for all employees are current and up-to-date
* Monitor HR Inbox and respond to employee/manager queries and service issues in a timely and professional manner.
* Assist Talent Acquisition Advisor with the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, assisting in screening resumes, conducting phone interviews, and facilitating the selection process.
* Assist hiring managers with recruitment-related inquiries/ strategy, position descriptions, and interview guides within the principles and requirements set out in the Recruitment and Selection procedure.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
* Diploma or higher qualifications in Human Resources/Business Administration or equivalent
* Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office (intermediate level)
* Knowledge of HRIS software.
* Excellent written skills and ability to communicate confidently
* Ability to manage a varied and busy workload
* Current class C driver license
* National NDIS Workers Screening check current Yellow Card and blue card.
