About This Role
This is a 6-month Maternity Leave position as Head of Design. You'll take full ownership of the design function, ensuring alignment between development intent and construction delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead design strategy across development and live projects
* Manage design from feasibility, planning, and approvals through to delivery
* Drive buildability, cost efficiency, and programme alignment
* Oversee consultants, authorities, and internal stakeholders
* Identify and mitigate design and delivery risks
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Head of Design / Senior Design Manager within a builder or builder‐developer
* Strong understanding of both development and construction phases
* Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands‐on
* Excellent stakeholder management skills
* Available to commence June 2026
