**The Role**
Our Family and Child Connect program has an opportunity for a motivated and passionate Family Response Facilitator to join the team. Located in Caboolture this role will be Fixed Term Full-time contract for 6 months with the potential of extension to a permanent role.
FaCC are local, community-based services that help families to care for and protect their children at home, by connecting them to the right services at the right time. Broadly, the FaCC will:
- Assess the information they receive with a focus on the safety and protection of the children in the family
- Provide advice where appropriate
- Make contact with the family to discuss the concerns
- Assess the type and level of support required
- Refer the family to services to assist them, including Intensive Family Support services
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $41.52 to $44.68 plus superannuation $82,044 to $88,288 per annum pro rata (dependent on qualifications and experience). You will also have the opportunity to increase your take-home pay by salary sacrificing and other benefits (more information below).
**To be eligible for this position you will require**:
- 3 or 4 year tertiary qualification in Child Protection, Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or related discipline.
- It is desirable if you have previous experience working effectively across a range of service providers, both government and non-government, to negotiate high quality service provision to families who have complex issues.
- You will hold a Provisional Green (P2) or Open Driver Licence.
- A positive notice in the Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and the ability to obtain any other legislatively required personal history screening as required.
- Evidence of current vaccination against Whooping Cough or willingness to obtain prior to commencement, unless applicable exemption provided as per the relevant MC procedure.
