Our client is a well‑established business based in the Port Macquarie‑Hastings region. Operating multiple independent businesses, this organisation has been through challenges, has re‑aligned priorities, re‑built the foundations, and is now ready for the right person to lead the organisation into the future. We are now seeking expressions of interest for a highly strategic, visionary and experienced CEO to lead this team through an exciting period of growth and development!
The Role
This is a unique opportunity to manage a portfolio of well‑performing B2B & B2C businesses whilst scoping out new opportunities for growth & development. Your ability to build a visionary strategy, enable and inspire your team, whilst maintaining strong commercial governance is critical. You will develop a culture of growth, energy and outcome‑focus, and inspire those around you, whilst you embark on an exciting period of change – business growth, digital transformation, property re‑development and membership engagement!
Key Responsibilities
* Proven track record of leadership: building and leading a cohesive team with an inspiring culture.
* Operational Management: experience managing a portfolio of businesses, proven commercial nous.
* Commercial Growth Mindset: ability to drive growth in a risk‑controlled, safety‑first manner.
* Connection and advocacy: connect with members, engage key stakeholders and advocate for the community.
* Visionary and Engaging: passionate in the purpose and committed to the strategy.
* Experience within a membership‑based organisation and/or property re‑development would be advantageous.
Qualifications
The CEO will provide leadership to the organisation's approximately 35 staff and build effective engagement with a broad range of external stakeholders, including members, regulatory bodies, local and state government, industry bodies etc. The role requires a highly experienced, strategic, and financially adept leader with a proven track record in managing organisations of similar size, complexity, and stakeholder diversity.
Remuneration
A competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience will be offered, including performance‑based incentives aligned with the achievement of strategic objectives.
