We're on the lookout for a Cook to join our team at our V-Wall Pavilion, Nambucca Heads Holidays site. This is a casual position with opportunity to pick up additional hours during peak seasons.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Area Manager, you'll play a key role in preparing and presenting high-quality meals using fresh and local ingredients, helping us deliver exceptional experiences for our guests and residents, and having fun while doing it
The V-Wall Pavilion is nestled along the scenic waterfront of Nambucca Heads, offering a laid-back coastal lifestyle with stunning views and a relaxed atmosphere perfect for casual dining and family gatherings.

In this Role, You'll
* Prepare and serve meals to a high standard, following menu guidelines and minimising waste.
* Manage stock efficiently; ordering, receiving, and rotating to ensure freshness and compliance with food safety standards.
* Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area, including equipment and surfaces.
* Work collaboratively with your team to create a positive and productive environment.
* Follow all WHS and food safety procedures, including audits, chemical handling, and accurate record-keeping.
You're Likely a Match If You
* Have previous food safety training and a solid understanding of HACCP principles.
* Have experience in food preparation and cooking, with strong communication and basic budgeting skills.
* Are a proactive, respectful team player who takes feedback well and contributes to a positive work culture.
* Have the ability to manage time effectively, stay calm under pressure, and maintain high standards.
* Are comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, standing for long periods, and using kitchen equipment safely with PPE.
