Ideally, the candidate will be available to work Monday – Sunday with shifts available from 8:00am – 3:00pm and 3:00pm-11:00pm.

Holmesglen Private Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and achieving high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction, in this fast paced and varied environment across the Hospital. This role will see you cleaning in a variety of areas across the Hospital including patient rooms, corporate offices and hallways.

Holmesglen Private Hospital is a world class facility located in the South Eastern region of Melbourne. Close to public transport and with affordable onsite parking.
Holmesglen Private is a state of the art 147 bed hospital, comprising of a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 9 bed specialised Coronary Care Unit (CCU), 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialised inpatient units – including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology and Rehabilitation Services.
Responsibilities
* Provide high standard of cleaning services
* Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures
* Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
* Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
Qualifications & Requirements
* Previous cleaning experience in Healthcare/hotel/airline cleaning is preferred but not essential
* Working with Children check
* Police check will be required
* Commitment to service excellence
* Proven time management skills and ability to manage priorities
* Strong communication and customer skills
* Work well independently and within a team

Requirements
Our commitment to quality and safety for our patients, staff and visitors is our highest priority. Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check, WWCC (where applicable) and evidence of right to work in Australia prior to appointment. Staff in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
