We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join our Information Technology team, based at our Head Office in Belmont. This role will see you working within a team of highly skilled developers who collectively take ownership of NRW's enterprise-grade business applications that support critical functions including project management, cost control, production data capture, workforce management, and engineering document control.
As a Senior Developer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining, enhancing, and scaling complex applications across desktop, web, mobile, and integration platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and ensure systems are secure, reliable, and fit for purpose.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following as a minimum:
* Substantial previous experience in a similar role servicing multiple companies or with a medium to large managed service provider
* 2+ years of React/TypeScript frontend development OR mobile application development.
* Experience with multi-layered architectures (Web / Service / Data separation)
* Proven experience with building enterprise applications with .NET/C#.
* Previous experience with Azure Integration and Application services
* Experience in integrating with ERP systems or third-party business applications.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Analytical mindset with a customer-focused approach.
* Experience in an agile development team, designing and developing business or consumer web applications
* Good knowledge of software development tools, particularly DevOps (Repo, CI and deployment tools and PowerShell
* Knowledge of web security best practices
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
* Designing, developing, testing, and deploying features across full-stack web, desktop, mobile, and integration platforms
* Maintaining and extending data models across multiple database environments
* Building and optimising APIs, integrations, and data synchronisation services
* Supporting integrations with ERP, HR, payroll, recruitment, and project scheduling systems
* Participating in architectural discussions and contributing to technical decision-making
* Identifying and addressing technical debt and system improvements
* Ensuring performance, scalability, reliability, and security across applications
* Supporting production releases, incident response, and ongoing system enhancements
* Mentoring and supporting junior developers within the team
