Lead Platform Engineer in Brisbane to drive Azure infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and developer experience. Lead a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage Platform Engineering roles within the team to deliver effective DevOps solutions that align with product objectives.
* Define the platform roadmap as the primary custodian, identifying and prioritising capabilities while orchestrating team activities and enforcing standards.
* Design and implement release and deployment automation, driving application infrastructure architecture and monitoring solutions.
* Empower engineering teams by providing self-service tools and workflows that accelerate delivery times and reduce risk.
* Oversee platform health by managing infrastructure, servers, and databases to ensure availability, reliability, and security.
What You Need to Apply for This Role
* Extensive experience in platform engineering with a focus on developer experience and deployment automation.
* Technical proficiency in Terraform (or similar IaC) and deep experience with Azure infrastructure and services.
* Strong automation skills, including the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and containerisation technologies.
* Architectural knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and serverless architecture.
* Expertise in troubleshooting and code debugging, with a solid understanding of cloud-based networking and security.
