Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant to join the Live Nation finance team in Melbourne. This role is essential for month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting across multiple Live Nation entities in Australia and New Zealand. You will liaise with auditors and support various accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Month-End & Financial Reporting: Prepare GST lodgements for Australian and New Zealand companies, corporate result reports, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Tax & Compliance: Prepare and review provisional tax calculations, ensuring compliance with SOX and audit regulations.
Forecasting & Budgeting: Assist in forecasting overheads, variance analysis, and preparing budgets and forecasts.
Reconciliations & Reporting: Complete corporate reporting using BPC software, prepare roll-forward packs, and assist with ad-hoc reports.
Vendor & Payment Management: Review and approve payments, vendor account creation, and intercompany matrices.
Audit & Internal Controls: Assist in audit preparations for the ANZ entities.
Aged Debtors Management: Ensure timely settlement of customer accounts and manage aged invoices.
CAPEX & Vendor Account Maintenance: Maintain CAPEX records and review vendor setup requests.
Ad-Hoc Tasks: Support additional financial reporting or tasks as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, progressing towards CPA/CA.
2-3 years of accounting experience, especially with month-end processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
Experience with Oracle ERP and BI tools is preferred.
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently or in a team.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Experience in a multi-entity environment and understanding of tax regulations for ANZ.
