Overview
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to design, implement, and support our LAN, WAN, and VOIP infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our global network systems, ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and performance across the business.
Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain network performance and availability.
Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and policies.
Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments.
Support global network operations and disaster recovery planning.
Plan, install, and configure routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and servers.
Design and implement network infrastructure using Cisco technologies.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, GDPR).
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce security protocols.
Analyze traffic patterns and recommend upgrades.
Provide technical support and resolve network-related issues.
Assist in strategic planning and implementation of enterprise-wide projects.
Work with vendors and data centres on configurations and outages.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Participate in a rotating after-hours support schedule.
Provide support for critical IT projects and maintenance windows.
Skills and Experience
3–5 years of experience in network administration or engineering.
Strong knowledge of data communications and networking.
Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies (CCNA required, CCNP preferred).
Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls is a plus.
Proficiency in LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs.
Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Path Solutions).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) – Required
Cisco Certified Network Skilled (CCNP) – Highly Desired
