We're on the lookout for a casual Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team at our Byron Bay Holidays site.

Reporting to the Community Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping the park looking beautiful, safe, and welcoming — ensuring guests enjoy a clean, well‐maintained environment every day.

• Maintain beautiful outdoor spaces through mowing, pruning, planting, and pest control, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and guests.
• Carry out general repairs and upkeep across the site, including accommodation, pool areas, and equipment, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate contractor work and manage grounds maintenance budgets to deliver high standards within financial guidelines.
• Conduct regular WHS checks, follow safety protocols, and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities and incidents.
• Collaborate with team members, respond to resident queries, and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace culture.

• Hold a current "C" Class manual driver's licence.
• Have hands‐on experience in building and grounds maintenance, with strong problem‐solving skills and the ability to respond calmly in emergencies.
• Are proactive, positive, and committed to delivering high levels of service with clear communication and a team‐first attitude.
• Are comfortable with manual tasks like lifting, bending, and operating tools and equipment across varied terrain and conditions.
• Understand the importance of PPE and safe handling of chemicals, tools, and machinery to maintain a secure work environment.
