Ground Support Systems (Aust) is a well-established hire company with branches throughout Australia that service the civil construction and the mining industries as well as local government bodies across Australia.
We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and physically fit individual to join our Adelaide depot as a Yardperson / Labourer. This full-time position offers remuneration above award rates, and applicable penalty rates for overtime.
The main tasks required in this role will be :
* Operation of a forklift for loading and unloading transport vehicles and company trucks, cleaning and maintenance of the hire equipment.
* To assemble and disassemble hire equipment as required. (On the job training provided)
* Cleaning and general maintenance of our hire equipment.
* Complete daily paperwork, including prestart for forklifts, Stocktakes, delivery / collection dockets etc.
* To do deliveries and collection in company ute when required
Skills and Experience :
1. Current Car Driver's Licence (or higher)
2. High Risk Licence for a Forklift (LF)
3. White card (general Site Induction card)
4. The ability to use handheld power tools
5. Experience within the Civil Construction industry could be beneficial.
6. The right person for this position must be fit to perform some manual handling as required.
