Coordinator – Handover (Future Generation Joint Venture – FGJV)

The Future Generation Joint Venture, a collaboration of WeBuild, Clough and Lane, has been selected to design and construct Snowy 2.0, a pumped‑hydro scheme in the Snowy Mountains, NSW. Snowy 2.0 is the largest renewable energy project in Australia, delivering on‑demand energy and large‑scale storage for future generations.

Purpose of the Role

Develop, implement and improve the Snowy 2.0 project handover management system for current works.

Qualifications

- Tertiary Construction Management qualifications or related discipline
- White Card

Experience

- Minimum of 6 years professional experience in managing completion and handover on complex infrastructure projects.
- Senior‑level management experience on large‑scale projects (Oil & Gas, Mining, Infrastructure)
- Expertise and knowledge in multiple EDMS systems.
- Experience using completion systems.
- Experience managing document and data handover.

Required Competencies

- Quality management system audit qualification
- Understanding of ISO AS/NZS 9001 requirements
- Working knowledge of EDMS systems
- Sound problem‑solving skills
- Strong initiative and proactive nature
- Collaborative skills
- Stakeholder management across different levels
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Well‑developed time‑management skills
- High attention to detail
- Exceptional knowledge and ability in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Core Accountabilities & Responsibilities

- Schedule regular meetings to coordinate completion activities.
- Report completion progress in monthly project reports when appropriate.
- Prepare and agree a handover documentation schedule with SHL.
- Articulate the completion methodology.
- Ensure all handover documents are at As‑Built status.
- Document and meet asset handover requirements.
- Develop processes to manage the Defect Correction Period (DCP).
- Outline construction completion and handover requirements.
- Outline final completion (post‑DCP) requirements.
- Generate O&M; manuals for handover to SHL.
- Document timing and process for submission of documentation to SHL.
- Complete and submit all handover documentation to SHL.
- Liaise with the design team on design issues.
- Establish a solid and open relationship with the Principal Representative and IC representatives regarding quality, compliance and handover of documents and data.

These positions are in remote challenging areas with extreme cold temperatures; applicants should consider this before applying.
