The Opportunity
We are looking for a Risk & Compliance Officer to join our team.
About the role
This role is a member of IBA's Risk and Assurance team and works closely with the Board, the Executive and staff at all levels to provide high quality risk management and compliance support.
What you’ll bring to the team
- Awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander societies and culture.
- Ability to liaise and communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff.
- An ability to communicate sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Prior risk, governance, compliance or other relevant experience in financial services.
- Well-developed strategic thinking, organisational, planning and prioritisation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong discipline in Microsoft applications.
