About the Role
As a Dental Assistant and Receptionist at Northwest Dental Deloraine & Longford, you will play an essential role in supporting our dentists and ensuring our patients have the best experience possible. You\'ll work with cutting-edge technology in a modern, supportive environment and enjoy a variety of responsibilities (Dental Assistant), including:
* Assisting dentists during procedures
* Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments
* Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
* Maintaining accurate patient records
Responsibilities as a Receptionist also include:
* Providing warm and professional reception support to patients
* Scheduling and managing appointments and patient flow
* Performing sterilisation duties in line with current infection control standards
* Preparing and maintaining clinical spaces and equipment
* Supporting team members with general admin and operational tasks
What we are Looking For
* Certificate III in Dental Assisting (preferred, but not essential)
* Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine care for patients
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* A proactive attitude and a passion for learning
