Our Building Team The BG E Building Team provides comprehensive design services to a range of sectors from commercial, education, healthcare, and residential.

We work alongside a diverse range of clients, from private asset owners, contractors, and state government agencies.
The Role: As part of the design team, you will be working in collaboration with other principal and senior level engineers and be responsible for delivering solutions across a wide variety of engineering projects.
Primarily technical in nature, the role will include some project management and business development functions as required as well as providing opportunities to progress over time into a more senior role within the business.
Key Accountabilities:
• Preparation of detailed calculations for a variety of building structural systems and elements,
• Operation of analytical models and contributing to running complex models,
• Preparation of sketches and technical reports,
• Review of structural documentation,
• Co-ordination of designs with other project team consultants,
• Participation in internal design team meetings and in external meetings with the client and other consultants,
• Visits to construction and project sites to perform site inspections and to provide observation reports and supporting engineering advice,
• Supports and manages elements of projects,
• Supports in identification of opportunities for follow on work and contributes to bids and proposal development.
About You:
• Relevant engineering qualifications and be a Chartered Engineer or already working towards chartership,
• At least 4 years of experience in building design and engineering practices,
• Client liaison experience,
• Capability to perform planning, concept and detailed design,
• Based in Perth.
