Job Title:
Project Coordinator
Our organization is seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to play a key role in the success of our construction projects. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and managing construction plans, schedules, and methodologies using Primavera P6 to ensure projects are delivered on time.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive construction methodologies, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
* Conduct constructability reviews to identify potential issues and optimize construction methods.
* Collaborate with project engineers and construction managers to understand project requirements and develop effective construction plans and schedules using Primavera P6.
* Analyze project progress, identify potential issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project completion dates are met.
* Provide expert advice on construction planning, methods, and best practices to project teams, focusing on constructability and efficient project delivery.
* Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
* Be an Australian citizen at the time of application.
* Hold a Government Security Clearance, or be able to gain and maintain one.
* Hold a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with experience in planning and programming, preferably in large-scale building projects.
* Proven experience in developing and managing construction plans and schedules using Primavera P6.
* Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, including critical path method (CPM) scheduling, lean construction principles, and constructability reviews.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
