About the company:
Precision Hearing is one of the oldest private diagnostic and hearing rehabilitation clinics in Sydney. We are providers of hearing-aid services, hearing aids, assistive listening devices, cochlear implants, and bone anchored hearing aids. We also carry out diagnostic testing for hearing and balance disorders.

About the role:
The reception role exists as the first point of contact for any patients entering or contacting the clinic. The aim is to provide high quality customer and secretarial services to patients and practice staff. The role is a offered full time 5 days per week at our Darlinghurst clinic, and may occassionally include travel to our visiting sites at Kogarah and/or Bondi Junction.
A typical day will include:
* Opening and/or closing the practice
* Answering and directing calls and emails
* Booking appointments for patients to see our clinicians at our different locations
* Invoicing, accepting and receipting payments
* Processing patients claims (E.g. Medicare, Work cover, Office of Hearing service, Department of defence)
* Scanning, faxing, filing, posting and shredding documents
* Additional tasks maybe allocated based on your skills and experience
What we are looking for in a candidate:
* Previous medical receptionist experience
* Deliver high standards of service and patient care
* Strong Verbal and written communication skills
* Must be able to work both cooperatively and independently
* Ability to prioritise and organise
* Competent user of Microsoft office skills
