Administration Manager – Icon Cancer Centre Tennyson Centre, Kurralta Park, SA
Lead our warm and welcoming administration team at Icon Cancer Centre Tennyson Centre, where your skills and experience in medical and hospital administration as well as in people leadership, will directly support patients on their cancer journey.
Permanent Full-Time Role – Monday to Friday, working 76 hours per fortnight. Located at the Tennyson Centre, Kurralta Park.

Key Responsibilities
* Create a warm, safe and welcoming environment for patients, doctors, team members and visitors
* Build a high performing team culture through clear expectations, consistent leadership and proactive management of behaviour
* Lead, supervise and support the Administration team, including identifying training and development needs
* Ensure the consistent implementation of processes and policy to enable a consistent, reliable and trusted service
* Ensure efficient and coordinated patient scheduling and high quality reception services
* Support recruitment activities for the Administration team
* Ensure accurate and timely Medicare and private billing and debt management, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements
* Maintain accurate patient records and uphold privacy and confidentiality standards
* Contribute to accreditation and quality assurance processes
* Implement practice changes and continuous improvement initiatives effectively
* Manage resources in line with KPIs and operational targets under the guidance of the Site Manager
* Collaborate with site leaders to deliver high quality patient‐centred care
About You
You are a motivated and customer‐focused administration leader with a positive, professional approach and strong sense of accountability for your own and your team's outcomes. With strong presentation and interpersonal skills, you thrive in a busy healthcare environment and enjoy leading teams to deliver outstanding service and patient outcomes.
You will take an integral role in managing daily administrative operations and actively work with teams from other Icon sites to ensure consistent processes and to build a network of trusted administrative support personnel. Skills & Experience
* Demonstrated experience leading a high performing team in a patient‐or customer‐focused environment
* Demonstrated clear respectful communication and ability to build effective working relationships across all levels
* Strong understanding of health administration within a medical setting, including doctor consultations and patient hospital admissions
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with strong planning and organisational skills
* Proven ability to show initiative, prioritise workloads and manage time effectively
* Experience identifying training needs and delivering training and development to maintain capability and engagement within teams
* Strong relationship‐building skills with patients, doctors, clinical and support teams and other key stakeholders
* Excellent computer skills and experience with practice management software or electronic medical records with a continuous improvement mindset
* Knowledge of healthcare legislative and compliance requirements (desirable)
* Qualifications or formal training in leadership or management (desirable)
