Mental Health Clinician Role
The Step Up Step Down Unit in Queensland Health is currently seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician to join their multidisciplinary team on a temporary basis.
As a key member of the team, you will deliver discipline-specific services independently and collaboratively with other professionals to clients within the facility. Your primary responsibility will be to provide short-term residential support with intensive clinical treatment to prevent acute admission to the mental health unit and facilitate a smooth transition out of hospital.
Working closely with non-clinical partners Mind Australia, you will be responsible for delivering a psycho-social recovery-based program to cater to the unique needs of clients.
* This role requires an Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, or Social Worker with experience working with adults aged 18-64 years who are living with severe mental disorders or illnesses.
