Position 1: Welder
We are seeking an experienced and skilled WELDER to join our growing team. Successful candidates will be responsible for performing high‐quality welding and fabrication work in accordance with technical drawings and Australian industry standards. Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
* Mark out, cut, shape and assemble metal components using hand tools and machinery.
* Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to a high standard.
* Fabricate structural steel and custom metal components.
* Repair and maintain metal structures and equipment.
* Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications.
* Always follow workplace health and safety procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
* Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or equivalent.
* Minimum two years of relevant industry experience.
* Demonstrated experience in structural steel and general fabrication.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Position 2: Fitter
We are seeking an experienced and skilled FITTER to join our growing team. Successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repair, installation, and overhaul of mechanical equipment across industrial, mining and processing plant environments. Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble, install, maintain and repair mechanical machinery, plant equipment and components.
* Carry out preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on pumps, conveyors, gearboxes and motors.
* Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs to minimise operational downtime.
* Dismantle, inspect and replace worn or defective parts including bearings, seals and couplings.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and maintenance manuals.
* Ensure all work complies with workplace health and safety requirements.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete relevant documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
* Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent.
* Minimum two years of relevant industry experience.
* Experience with pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, motors and rotating equipment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
