DOC Mornington is positioned 100 metres from one of Mornington Peninsulas finest beaches, offering a bustling family-friendly casual dining, accompanied by a mouth-watering Italian inspired menu, a boutique coffee offering and a Delicatessen.
Duties & Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
Thoroughly clean all items coming into the dishwasher and pot wash areas
Ensures that all dishwasher machinery is working efficiently and that all chemicals being used are safely stored and handled
Keep all food and serving areas clean and dry
Kitchen Prep Assistance
Handle all glassware, silverware, crockery, pots and pans with care and store neatly and safely as instructed.
Stack all bottles, cardboard and papers in the respective storage areas and operate and store the cardboard compactor according to the necessary health and safety instructions.
Leave all work areas clean and tidy at the end of each shift
Maintains sanitation and hygiene standards necessary in a skilled kitchen.
Cleans and re-sets his/her working area
Actively pursue cost saving measures by minimising wastage and recycling where possible.
Skills & Experience
Your skills and experience will include:
Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
