**Job Description:**
A Leisure Program Coordinator will be responsible for designing and implementing leisure activities that cater to the diverse needs of older adults.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare setting, specifically working with seniors. They should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to engage participants in various recreational activities.
Main Responsibilities:
* Plan and lead group and individual activities tailored to participants' interests and abilities.
* Conduct assessments to determine participant needs and develop personalized care plans.
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support for participants.
* Maintain accurate records of participant attendance and activity participation.
* Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
Requirements:
* Degree equivalent to high school graduation.
* Access to reliable transportation for service area travel.
* Minimum one year of experience in an activities program for frail or elderly populations.
* CPR and Alzheimer's certifications preferred or willingness to obtain.
