Four Seasons Industries is seeking a practical, personable and experienced team member to join our manufacturing division in a hybrid role that blends hands-on operational oversight with business development and customer engagement.
This position is ideal for someone who has worked extensively with industrial machinery and is now looking to step into a less physical, more career-progressive role that still values their technical expertise.
About the Role
This role is split between:
Manufacturing Operations (2–3 days per week)
* Coordinate and assist in manufacturing and processing activities
* Monitor equipment performance and identify issues early
* Coordinate staff rosters and support safe, efficient workflow
* Assist with troubleshooting and maintenance
* Ensure WHS standards are met across the workplace
* Work closely with the Operations Manager and report directly to the Managing Director
Business Development & Industry Engagement (2–3 days per week)
* Meet with potential wholesale clients across a range of sectors
* Identify new market opportunities and build long-term relationships
* Apply your materials and product knowledge to create tailored solutions
* Represent the company professionally in meetings and site visits
* Support the growth of our wholesale division through proactive outreach
Suitable Backgrounds (Not Limited To)
We are seeking someone with strong mechanical aptitude and real-world experience. Ideal applicants may come from roles such as:
* Machinist or Fitter & Turner
* Diesel Fitter / Heavy Equipment Technician
* Production Supervisor or Leading Hand
* Industrial Maintenance Technician
* Plant or Process Operator (manufacturing, recycling, materials handling)
* Mechanical Engineering Technician
These backgrounds provide the right blend of mechanical awareness, practical problem-solving and confidence working with both machinery and people.
About You
* Confident operating and understanding industrial machinery
* Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
* Personable, down-to-earth and able to build relationships
* Clear communicator who can work across the factory floor and office
* Professional in presentation without being overly formal
* Interested in transitioning into a more diverse role with business development responsibilities
Salary & Benefits
* $80,000–$90,000 base salary + super
