The Role
We are seeking a Storeperson to join our growing team on a full-time basis.
In this role, you will assist in ensuring that all materials held in stock remain in a serviceable condition, and you will support the logistics team with the packing of equipment for dispatch as well as the return of equipment to inventory upon receipt.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Receipt and inspection of delivered equipment.
* Support the process of receiving, storing, assembling, packing and/or unpacking of goods.
* Assemble, pack and dispatch equipment to site in a timely and efficient manner.
* Keep the warehouse tidy and organised ensuring items are stored safely and efficiently.
* Assist with the maintenance of basic equipment.
* Operate computer systems to log equipment returned from site.
* Conduct regular inventory counts and update inventory management systems to reflect current stock.
* Assist with forecasting of stock levels to meet project requirements and stock takes.
* Liaise with Operations with regards to equipment movement.
* Collection of equipment from vendors as required.
* Follow all warehouse procedures.
* Operation of forklift in a safe manner, adhering to site SWPs.
* Loading and/or unloading of vehicles and/or trucks.
* Other duties as required.
* Prioritise safety as a core value, consistently demonstrating a commitment to safety.
* Comply with the company, HSEQ and HR Policies and Procedures.
* Promote the company's core values in everyday activities.
Required Qualifications
* Valid C Class ManualDrivers Licence.
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a stores and warehousing environment – preferable.
* Transport and warehouse experience – preferable.
* Oil & Gas industry – preferable.
* Experience with a computer-based Inventory management system.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work unsupervised.
* Good interpersonal skills and an effective communicator.
* Respect for others and team player.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Safety-first attitude.
* A strong ability and desire to learn and grow with the business.
