THE REQUIREMENTS
* A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in law with solid academic results
* Admitted to practice law in Australia
* At least 1 year experience in an Australian migration law firm
* Experienced in obtaining client instructions, conducting client meetings and appearing at tribunal level if required
* Must be confident with IT and 100% client-focused
* Must approach your work with a compassionate and kind manner with clients and their situation.
THE ROLE
* Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000
* Interviewing clients to determine the nature of problems and recommending and undertaking appropriate legal action.
* Researching legal matters.
* Drafting documents like record of responses, submissions and Tribunal and Court documents.
* Representing clients at the Administrative Review Tribunal.
* Apply the firm's style guide and document standards to ensure consistency in format, language, structure, and tone.
* Track legislative, regulatory, and procedural changes and ensure timely updates to affected clients or matters.
