About the Role
Baldivis Vet Hospital is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to lead our group financial operations and support executive decision-making. Working alongside management and the groups external accountant, this role is responsible for overseeing consolidated financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, and ensuring strong financial governance across the group.
You will work closely with management to drive financial performance, improve processes, and support the organisation's long-term growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing and management of underlying accounting data (debtors, creditors, banking).
* Processing and management of the business groups payroll and compliance with underlying awards.
* Lead group financial reporting, including consolidation across multiple entities.
* Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to senior management and shareholders.
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations, and corporate policies
* Assisting in the ongoing improvement of internal systems and processes.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline
* Professional qualification (or completing) such as CA / CPA.
* Minimum 3-5 years of management accounting experience required.
* Excellent analytical skills and an attention to detail.
* Sound payroll knowledge and an understanding of the Awards system.
* Experience using MYOB or similar accounting software
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
