Pay: $35 – $70 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified, experienced support Worker to provide NDIS-funded supports to a female participant in Morwell, Victoria.
This role involves delivering person-centred, strengths-based support to assist the participant to engage safely in daily living activities, community access, and social participation, while maintaining dignity, choice, and control at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Personal care supports including showering, dressing, and grooming in a respectful and age-appropriate manner
* Household tasks including light cleaning and laundry related to the participant
* Transport support to appointments, community activities, and shopping (using a reliable vehicle)
* Social and community participation, supporting inclusion, relationship-building, and skill development
* Support communication needs using appropriate strategies and guidance from the family and allied health professionals
* Follow established routines, behaviour support strategies, and risk assessments
* Maintain accurate communication with family and relevant stakeholders
* Ensure participant safety, privacy, and wellbeing at all times
Essential Requirements:
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or Certificate IV (or equivalent) (essential)
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* Current National Police Check
* Valid Working With Children Check (VIC)
* Current First Aid Certificate including CPR
* Current Manual Handling Certificate
* Valid Australian driver's licence and reliable transport
* Full Australian working rights
* Demonstrated understanding of NDIS Practice Standards, Duty of Care, and Child Safe requirements
