Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Duty Diesel Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for conducting servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Regional Group equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair faults in diesel engines while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
* Liaise with direct managers, supervisors, and other teams daily to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
* Utilize lean practices to minimize waste and optimize productivity.
Requirements for Success:
* A current driver's license (highly desirable).
* Current certification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
* Confident in all aspects of plant repairs, including mechanical and electrical systems.
* Sound knowledge of diesel engines, emissions, drivetrain, brakes, and suspension systems.
* Competent in computer-based diagnostics and troubleshooting.
