Job Description Responsibilities includeResponsible for the preparation of food according to the standards and quality levels set by the Company at all times.Ensuring that quality and presentation are served on schedule.Ensuring proper equipment operation/maintenance and proper safety and sanitation in the kitchen.Taking direction from onboard Chefs.What you will bring to usApprentice Chef, First, Second, or Third year Apprentice will be accepted.Prior Marine industry experience will be highly regarded.Proficiency in all aspects of food safety, including HACCP and Food Safety Supervisor certifications.Positive communication skills, energy, and attitude.A flexible and motivated team player with a high degree of social competence.Efficient time management and organisational skills.Pride in appearance.Ability to work under pressure.Willingness to learn and accept constructive criticism.This is a salaried position.
