HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
The Opportunity
Lee Crane Hire (LCH) is a privately owned company with over 40 years servicing the mining, energy, industrial and construction industries in Central Queensland. We are seeking an outstanding and motivated individual to lead our Human Resources and Industrial Relation functions.
Reporting to the CEO and Directors, the successful applicant will oversee HR Functions, procedures, and best practices at LCH.
This role is based at the head office in Biloela, Central QLD. This position is a Monday to Friday role.
Possessing relevant qualifications and experience, this is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your superior advisory skills and hands-on management of all HR related matters to ensure company compliance with legislation, industry standards and company policies.
As a proactive and enthusiastic team player, you will manage staff's work priorities in conjunction with the Senior Manager team and other members of the business.
Responsibilities
Report directly to Senior management and Directors
Advise and assist managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Ensure a high level of compliance with employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance improvement plans.
Create and contribute to HR strategy, workforce planning, and organizational development initiatives.
Manage HR documentation, compliance, and reporting requirements.
Advise and assist leaders on effective people management and change leadership.
Co-ordinate and oversee the Workcover/ Rehabilitation requirements.
Co-ordinate and assist with onboarding/ induction process.
Required Qualifications and Minimum Experience
* Certificate IV in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
* Strong understanding of industrial law & legislative requirements
* A minimum of 3 years mining and civil industry experience in a similar position (Highly regarded but not essential)
* Excellent verbal & non-verbal communication skills and work well within a team environment
