What is the role? We're looking for a Business Applications Specialist to join our Brisbane Head Office.
In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting and maintaining business-critical applications, ensuring they run efficiently and align with organisational needs. You'll work closely with stakeholders to provide technical and system-based solutions that drive operational effectiveness and support business objectives.
What You'll be doing As our Business Applications Specialist, you'll:
Provide high level support to end users, ensuring timely and professional resolution of application-related issues. Manage and triage incoming support tickets, aiming for first-contact resolution while escalating complex issues when needed. Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Maintain accurate records of support requests, system changes, and resolutions within internal ticketing systems. Administer and support core business applications, including ERP, POS, and eCommerce platforms, ensuring smooth operations. Assist in developing and implementing technical solutions to enhance system functionality and meet business needs. Identify opportunities to leverage technology for process improvement and operational efficiency. Participate in change management processes, including requirements gathering, testing, and execution. Deliver training and guidance to end users, ensuring they maximize system functionality and adoption. Monitor and manage integrations across multiple systems, ensuring data accuracy and seamless connectivity. Collaborate with vendors to diagnose and resolve recurring system issues. Conduct testing and quality assurance on system updates, bug fixes, and enhancements. Ensure data integrity across sales, transactions, and integrations. Bring a problem-solving mindset, leveraging technical expertise to drive innovative solutions. Challenge existing processes and identify efficiencies through system enhancements and automation. Work cross-functionally with internal teams and stakeholders to achieve business objectives. Support system upgrades, application rollouts, and key projects as required. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, contributing to a strong team culture. Who We're Looking For We're seeking someone who has:
Experience working with ERP systems, POS, and other SaaS platforms. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues. Strong communication skills and experience with change management.
