The Department of Communities brings together the services and functions of disability services, child protection and family support, community initiatives and regional services reform.
The Opportunity
As a Manager Financial Systems, you will:
* lead the Finance Systems team that provides a first point of contact for system support and advice for business managers and their finance officers across the Department,
* develop and proactively manage a communication and development strategy that is aligned to changes in financial systems and processes to enable business managers to develop ownership and expert knowledge of their budgets and financial management processes and make evidence-based decisions,
* work in close partnership with other senior managers in Finance and across the business,
* review projects performance and focus on identifying opportunities for continuous improvement,
* remain flexible and responsive to changes in requirements.
