About The Role
As a Banking Consultant in our Retail Banking, you’ll play a key role in helping to provide customers with a seamless banking experience, through meeting each customer’s end-to-end financial needs and goals across transaction activities, needs-based conversations, and educating them on the financial solutions available, including digital. They have the knowledge required to complete customer transactions, as well as have in-depth needs-based conversations and fulfill products as per their accreditation level. This role is based mainly in branches and will deliver a high standard of customer service to ensure customers are not only satisfied but become strong advocates for ANZ.
You will be part of a collaborative team and will act as a role model and peer coach to deliver the best possible customer experience. You will be passionate about delivering on our Customer Promises to ensure customers leave the branch as strong advocates of ANZ.

What will your day look like?
As a Banking Consultant, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide customers with a seamless branch experience by meeting their end-to-end banking needs, including transaction activities, needs-based conversations, and educating on digital solutions
Be a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to deliver excellent customer service
Contribute to increased customer engagement and advocacy, creating real customer value
Support bank programs and initiatives
Know your customer from a risk perspective
Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures
What will you bring?
To succeed in this role, you should ideally have:
Exceptional customer focus; retail experience is advantageous
Experience with digital channels and technology promotion
Ability to multi-task and adapt to change and ambiguity
Teamwork and collaboration skills
Understanding of compliance requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Having most of these skills is sufficient; a growth mindset is valued at ANZ.
