Overview
About the Role: Join our dynamic product team as a Food Technologist providing critical technical support across product development, compliance, and data management. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate product specifications, managing customer portal submissions, and supporting new product development from concept to launch.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain product specifications across major retailer systems (Woolworths, Coles, ALDI, Costco)
- Develop Product Information Forms (PIFs) and manage compliance documentation
- Coordinate ingredient changeovers and track documentation impacts
- Support plant trials, validations, and data collection
- Manage customer submissions including Health Star Ratings and nutritional panels
- Maintain product data systems and identify process improvements
Qualifications
- 2+ years in food manufacturing, technical support, or quality administration
- Experience with customer specification systems (Sphere, Fusion, Partner Hub preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and Excel proficiency
- Understanding of Australian food regulations advantageous
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
