This will be joint appointments between St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne and GV Health with successful applicants employed in the Critical Care Unit at GV Health and the ICU St Vincent's Hospital. GV Health is committed to create a centre of excellence for rural health care and education. This will be done in conjunction with the Rural Medical School - these CCU positions form an important part of this initiative. Suitable candidates will be eligible for positions at the University of Melbourne, Rural Clinical School. These roles will have an academic focus on researching and modelling a culture that enables optimal medical training. The St Vincent's rotation/secondment is an opportunity to combine tertiary critical care practice including cardiac and neuro-intensive care in a well-supported collegiate environment. Involvement and development in all clinical aspects will be encouraged and supported through CPD opportunities and direct clinical engagement. We are looking for Must be a registered Specialist Intensive Care Physician in Australia with AHPRA Hold a Fellowship of the Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand or its equivalent Have appropriate training and experience applicable to the field of Intensive Care.
