About the role
As a casual Bus Driver for Currumbin Valley Bus and Coach, you will play a crucial role in providing safe and reliable charter transportation services to our valued customers. This role offers the flexibility of casual work, allowing you to balance your schedule with other commitments.
What you'll be doing
1. Safely operate our coaches of various sizes for our variety of passenger transport work, including (but not limited to) school excursions, weddings, corporate and local charter work.
2. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users
3. Provide exceptional customer service, assisting passengers with boarding, seating, and any special needs
4. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in safe working condition
5. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the coach.
6. Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and clients to ensure on-time service
7. Contribute to the overall success of the charter services operation
What we're looking for
1. A current, valid Heavy Rigid Drivers license and a Queensland Drivers Authority
2. Minimum 2 years' experience operating heavy vehicles in a professional passenger transport setting
3. Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing a high level of passenger satisfaction
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and the dispatch team
5. A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to respond to changing priorities
6. A passion for the transport industry and a commitment to safety and professional standards
7. Must have full Australian work rights and be eligible to work in Queensland
