The Role
The Coordinator Aboriginal Strategy leads the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Council's Aboriginal affairs and reconciliation strategies, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and community outcomes. The role provides high-level strategic advice across Council, drives the delivery of the Aboriginal Action Plan (AAP), and embeds culturally safe practices across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate key governance, planning and reporting processes.
* Manage projects, budgets and funding opportunities.
* Build strong partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, industry, and education stakeholders to enhance employment pathways, program delivery and community engagement outcomes.

* Culturally informed leadership, policy development, communication and governance expertise.
