About the role: As a Village Manager or Assistant Village Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. You’ll manage client relationships on-site, lead a high-performing team, and uphold contract compliance while delivering an outstanding customer experience. Oversee daily village operations with a focus on efficiency and quality Lead, motivate, and support a team to deliver outstanding hospitality services Build and maintain strong site-level client relationships Champion a safety-first culture and ensure full compliance with SOPs Manage resourcing, rosters, and cost controls to optimise performance Identify opportunities to maximise revenue and improve service delivery Foster team development, cross-skilling, and performance excellence Recognise and reward top performers to build engagement and morale To be considered: Proven excellent experience in managing mining camp/village operations or a strong hospitality management background (Highly Desirable) Inspirational leadership with a track record of motivating and managing teams of 50 staff Unrestricted work rights in Australia. Must have a valid police check issued within the last 3 months or be willing to obtain one. Must pass a Queensland Coal Board Medical and Functional Assessment Standard 11 surface mining induction or willing to obtain. Willingness and ability to travel regularly to site on a FIFO roster Strong customer service focus with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
