Summary of the role:
1. Be part of a small, diverse team, with hybrid working conditions (3 days office, 2 days from home), with some flexibility in start times.
2. Full time, M-F, Mercy Health Head office, Richmond
3. The Billing Officer- Residential Aged Care is responsible for provision of centralized billing functions and maintenance of fees.
4. This role provides support that enables the delivery of high quality aged care services, end to end billing duties and provision of monthly statements of all fees payable with professionalism and accuracy.
ABOUT YOU:
5. Relevant experience within the Aged Care Accounts receivables industry (Collections and/or Billing)
6. previous experience with resident/ patient information systems
7. Ability to work unsupervised and take initiative
8. customer focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills
9. able to effectively perform financial and business support functions including basic accounting responsibilities
