Manager, Paramedic Program - International Deployment
Location: Papua New Guinea
Contract: Fixed-term until April 2027
The Organisation
National St John Ambulance Papua New Guinea is seeking an experienced and adaptable leader to oversee its Paramedic Program across multiple provinces. This senior leadership role is fully accountable for the performance, quality, and compliance of emergency paramedic services delivered under major service contracts. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will lead a multi-site paramedic workforce, ensuring clinical excellence, contract performance, workforce sustainability, and strong stakeholder partnerships. The role requires regular travel across Port Moresby, Lae, Kokopo and Mt Hagen, including occasional short-notice operational support.

About You
* Bachelor's degree in Paramedicine
* Current AHPRA registration
* Ability to obtain PNG Medical Board registration
* Proven leadership experience in complex operational environments
* Experience managing contracts, workforce planning, and performance reporting
* Strong stakeholder engagement and financial management capability
Highly regarded
Postgraduate qualifications, Critical Care credentials, experience in PNG/Pacific environments, or government-funded contract programs.
