We take great care to provide safe, and competitive seaport services to efficiently facilitate imports and exports through our Queensland ports.

Reporting to the Property Specialist, you will be responsible for administering the full lifecycle of tenancy arrangements and land holdings across NQBP’s strategic port land portfolio. You will ensure agreements are compliant, commercially sound, accurately recorded, and aligned with corporate and legislative requirements.

Key responsibilities

* Administer new and renewed tenure agreements including leases, licenses, permits, easements, surrenders, and assignments
* Coordinate and administer the annual Market Rent Review program
* Oversee lease documentation, compliance monitoring, and obligation tracking within the property management system
* Monitor tenant compliance and act as the first point of contact for market rent review matters
* Administer land costs including rates, water, and land tax, ensuring accurate recovery where applicable
* Maintain accurate records of acquisitions, disposals, and tenure conversions
* Liaise with tenants, solicitors, valuers, and relevant government agencies
* Coordinate property acquisition, rental property management, and related programs
* Work collaboratively with the GIS Officer to produce tenure mapping overlays

About you

You are a detail-oriented property professional with excellent stakeholder engagement skills. You can manage documentation and work independently while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential requirements

* Demonstrated experience in commercial and industrial property administration
* Experience drafting and administering tenure agreements
* Experience maintaining property management systems and accurate data records
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workflows and meet deadlines
* Proficiency in Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)

Desirable

Sound understanding of relevant property legislation including Land Title Act; Land Act; Transport Infrastructure Act.
