Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop and execute a diverse range of sweet and savory pastries, desserts and cakes that delight the palate.
* Conceive innovative recipes and seasonal menus that reflect current trends and culinary excellence.
* Ensure consistent quality, presentation and taste across all pastry items through rigorous quality control and attention to detail.
* Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, bakers and assistants in the pastry kitchen.
* Maintain impeccable cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen environment.
* Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to plan menus, organize events and drive business growth.
