Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all construction activities on site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Effectively manage and supervise a team of tradespeople, subcontractors, and labourers on construction sites.
* Oversee all on-site activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, quality control, and project progress monitoring.
* Ensure strict adherence to health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments and toolbox talks as required.
* Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that arise during the construction process.
* Prepare detailed reports on project status, budgets, and timelines.
* Collaborate with the project management team to identify and implement process improvements.
* Hands-on site supervisor to complete and fix any minor issues on site.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Supervisor or Construction Foreperson in the residential/commercial construction industry.
* Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
* Experience in steel frame construction.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations, and safety standards.
* Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
* Relevant construction qualifications, such as a Certificate IV in Building and Construction.
