Experienced Executive Support Officer Required for a Local Government in Perth Metro.

Hays are working with a local Government based in the Perth Metro region who are looking for an experienced Senior Administrator or Executive Support Officer to join their busy team on a temporary basis whilst they recruit permanently.
**Your new role**
Acting as a support officer to the Mayor and Councillors, you will be required to complete the following duties in this role:
- Coordinate Councillor requests, ensuring that they are responded to in an appropriate and timely manner Prioritise and allocate high volume and complex requests, assist with preparation of responses to a range of stakeholders
- Coordinate correspondence to and from the mayor
- Undertake a key liaison role between the Mayor, Councillors and the organisation, seeking information relating to research tasks, briefing material and speech notes
- Organise the Mayor and Councillors calendars, coordinating attendance at Council events
- Manage various council requests including corporate uniform, catering service contracts and other adhoc tasks as required
- Adhere to the Council's record keeping obligations, as per the Local Government standard
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous Local Government experience supporting senior management
- Abillity to start immediately or with mínimal notice
- Valid WA Drivers Licence
