Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce the risk of re‐offending and enhance public safety. It serves a key function of the NSW Communities and Justice sector by providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community. CSNSW works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported.
About The Role
Cessnock Correctional Centre is seeking highly motivated individuals to provide a range of administrative and clerical services such as offender administration, financial, purchasing, cash handling, asset and records management. The role requires the creation, compilation and distribution of quality documents with a superior, well‐structured writing style for effective operation in accordance with legislation, policy and practice.
Success in this role demands integrity at all times, strong teamwork, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while applying proven experience and knowledge. Resilience, initiative, high attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to work under pressure are key attributes to succeed in this fast‐paced environment.
Essential Requirements
* Current and valid driving licence and willingness to travel within NSW.
* Experience providing high‐level administration support in a PA or EA role.
