**Position Summary**
Supervises and participates in the daily operations of the Service Deli. Supports the Service Deli management team in
promoting a high-level of productivity. Coordinates employee lunches and breaks, reviews employees, carries out new
programs, and addresses member issues. Implements and upholds proper Service Deli and general safety procedures and
standards. Maintains courteous member service at all times. Promotes a high level of productivity and m ember service.
Participates in duties of the service deli area.
**Job Duties/Essential Functions**
- Develops, coaches, counsels, and directs Service Deli personnel. Provides feedback to promote team work and
accountability among employees. Interactively monitors Service Deli employee performance and participates in
performance reviews as needed. Implements and upholds proper Service Deli and general safety procedures and
standards.
- Monitors finished merchandise to see that department consistency and quality standards are met. Monitors
merchandise presentation and merchandising.
- Participates in restocking ingredients and supplies, food preparation, stocking display case, and cleaning up.
- Determines production requirements.
- Follows Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of all
equipment required by this position.
- Completes and complies with the 11 Commandments of Quality Assurance, Food Safety certification, and all safety
training required by warehouse and Service Deli.
- Assists with physical inventory periodically and assists with orders to buying office for equipment, product, and supplies.
- Coordinates proper maintenance and repairs for machinery, equipment, and implements.
- Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
- Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers.
Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery
- Phone, computer, calculator, copier, rotisserie, combination heat/steam oven, warming case, wrapping machine, shears,
knife, large wheeled racks, low pressure washer, cardboard baler, trash compactor, pallet jack blast chiller, air hose
cleaner, step ladder.
Education/Training:Higher School Certificate or Trade qualification
Licenses/Certifications:Supervisory or leadership experience,
Food handling, food service or comparable experience
Experience/Skills: Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal and organisation skills
Google Suite (Docs, Spreadsheet, Slides)
Basic math skills
